When size matters
Email attachments bounce above ~20MB and feel heavy above 5. Documents sent over chat cost the receiver data — a 400KB statement is opened; an 8MB one waits for WiFi.
Rule of thumb: 70% quality is invisible to most eyes and cuts photos by 60–90%. Drop lower only when the file must be tiny.
