The word to know: learnership. A learnership is real training that combines classroom theory with paid workplace experience — you earn a small stipend while you learn, and it ends in a registered qualification. Look for them at your nearest TVET college, on sayouth.mobi (free to join, no data needed on most networks), and on the websites of the SETA for your field. NSFAS can cover TVET study.
